What changes where made in the tennese constitution

The biggest change in this version of the constitution was the permanent abolition of slavery in Tennessee. Another purpose of the framers of this constitution was a reaction against the overreaching actions of Governor William G. Brownlow.

Slavery was big in Tennessee,so it was finally dispatched in the late 1800's.In order to to this,the people and government of Tennessee had to go through tons of paperwork to get the abolition of state slavery signed.
