How did the condition of certain groups, such as women, blacks, and Indians, reveal a contradiction in the Declaration of Independence?

The very simple answer to this, as it can be related to our current events. The whole premise of the Declaration of Independence was to show that America was a land of "freedom", and equality. Which then and now is shown by blinding lights. Blacks were treated as slaves, weren't given the same voting rights, and are lynched. Women are often strereotyped by the fact that you're women you are born and you are only entitled to certain things, basically if your a woman your a housewife. Indians or really any immigrant of color are regarded as if they are below Americans even though the whole reason America is a thing is because of immigration. If you meant Indians by Native Americans they are treated as if they were not the first inhabitants of this country, and their numbers are drastically decreased, and their reservetaionsviolated
