PLEASE HURRY Since so many contend that the Confederate battle flag represents a symbol of heritage for Georgian’s to gather around, it is worth looking back at Georgians’ attitudes toward the emergence of the symbol. Only a few brandished the Rebel flag following the end of the Civil War.
After the war, most Southerners declared that the Confederate flag should be furled and symbolically interred it into the pages of history.
