In the Confucian worldview, social roles (father, mother, husband, wife, son, elder and younger brother, etc.) are very rigidly defined. Individuals are expected to know their place in society and behave accordingly. In the U. S., these kind of social roles have become more flexible in recent decades: for example, husbands and wives have more freedom to negotiate their roles in their relationship. Why do you think these changes have occurred? Do you think this kind of flexibility is beneficial? Are there any potential drawbacks which traditional societies avoid? can u answer this questions for me plz?!!
