The advantage could be the role of leadership, the endless descions and choices, the pride, fame and glory that came with the position. The cons can be how many problems there were, and a limited amount of solutions, in which most people didn't agree. Time is scarce, where there are also too many problems to be solved, and the risk of disappointment to people of making the wrong descion and collapsing the entire democracy
