Why isn't the whole world rich? In this chapter we could see that there are things that rich countries have in common and things that poor countries have in common. It would appear the secret to having a long term growing economy is not a secret at all. If that is so, why aren't all the poor countries applying the secrets to themselves and becoming rich?
