In your opinion, should school officials be able to punish students for things that they do/say outside of school? Explain your answer. 2. In the famous court case Tinker v. Des Moines, students were required by school officials to remove black arm bands that they were wearing in protest of the Vietnam war. The students took their case to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court voted that they could wear the black arm bands at school because they were protected under the First Amendment right to free speech/expression. Do you believe that students should be allowed to wear whatever they want to school? Explain your answer.
