The actions of the Soviet Union and USA impacted the Genocide convention and ICC because the Soviet Union didn’t have a clear measure on what “genocide was” and the US vetoed the act.

Stalin engineered mass starvation by ordering high quotas of grain which didn’t allow the citizens to keep and grow grain for themselves.

The genocides were related because it had involved the tribes and different groups and what was supposed to be a civil war ended up being one side being more powerful than the other and mass exterminating the tribes.
