Why did henry viii of england break with the roman catholic church

To help him in his struggle with the Catholic Church, Henry needed help from Protestants.

For one he had so many wives , the Catholic Church believed in one wife for life whereas he had 6 , he wanted it to be legal to have wives after their death so he needed help from the protestants to break the rules of the Roman Catholic Church
