One of the most evident results of the American Revolution was the growth of national identity. Soon after the Declaration of Independence, patriots called for the ejection of British Loyless from the new nation. Public newspapers, such as a Pennsylvania packet, proclaimed that the Loyless should be sent back to Britain, where they could enjoy the slavery. Through these publications, patriot authors confirmed their Indian friends in the treaty of Paris(1763), which called for face loyalist treatment, and they declare their identity as a separate nation. As a result, many Loyless did abandoned America, leaving behind their roles in communities and government to be filled by patriotic Americans. The's, through the expel of British loyalist, Americans gained new powers in further drove the separation between America and Britain.
