They support the idea that the gov. should be small, It should have less number of workers in the party.Government support the military or defence spending and high stance against the nations.The state where the party nominee wins is represented with "red".Other characteristics are they believe in National Security, Family values and pro-life.

Democrats:

They support the idea that the gov. should have more role in the society.Democrats do not support the use of military against the countries and they believe in decreasing the military spendings.The state where the part nominee wins is represented with "blue".Other characteristics are they believe in Individual rights, Gay rights and pro-choice.
