The first option may sound fair because it is done randomly, but there's no chance to brainstorm over the pros and cons of the decision. The third option makes the decision-making process truly unfair because only one person has a say. The third option is unfair to those who are shy to voice out their opinion. A strong opinion doesn't necessarily mean it is the best.
