One of these people being President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson had many thoughts on what could be done to prevent another war from happening and he believed that the best way to prevent another one was by uniting countries together. Lodge's, a former US senator, belief was quite different from that of Wilson's. Both men wanted a different outcome after the first war, but I believe that Wilson had a more peaceful idea that would help out more than Lodge's.
