How did the communist leaders and people or which they call one another “comrades” of the Soviet Union of 1941 and 1953 react to the death of Stalin?

During the communist period in the Soviet Union, which lasted from 1922 to 1991, the national political system was structured around a supposed equality between the people and their representatives in the government.
