1. Georgia's climate is relatively mild because of its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico and also because of its higher elevation above sea level

2. Drought: Drought is a prolonged period of shortage in water supply (ground, atmospheric, surface) which is usually as a result of inadequate precipitation.
