In this activity, you will choose to take on the perspective of a small Midwestern farmer in America during the late 1800s to early 1900s. Then, from the perspective you have selected, you will write a three- to five-sentence paragraph in which you identify a problem that you face and propose a solution for that problem. Consider how your problems are similar or different to other groups such as skilled or unskilled factory workers whose problems you learned about in a previous lesson.
