Historian Bill Bigelow once wrote that the ”...abolition movement seeded the movement for women’s rights in the United States.” How could the experiences of Angelina and Sarah Grimke support Bigelow’s claim about the relationship between the abolition movement and the women’s rights movement? They both wanted to end slavery and they both think the abolition movement is going to start a new chapter for women's rights.
