He moved over to my seat and asked to listen to music with me. I gave him one earbud and pressed play. Two hours had gone by, I was looking out the window when I felt something heavy on my shoulder. I looked over and saw Benjamin sleeping on my shoulder. I chuckled and lay my head back in the bumpy window and slowly drifted off to sleep.

         I woke up before him and slowly pushed him off of me. In the process I woke him, I quickly apologized but was soon dismissed by a reassuring smile. The time was 10:30 and nine hours left until we arrived at the facility. We stopped at a couple of gas stations because kids were complaining that they were hungry and had to use the restroom. I got to know more about Benjamin and why he was chosen, and I was correct, he does play football.

 We had arrived at the facility and started our studies. We would occasionally write and receive letters from our parents. There were 15 kids including me who started off. Towards the second semester there were only five kids. Once we were in the spaceship it was only me and (name 2). While we were lifting off (nickname 2) took something out of his pocket, it was my mp.3 player. He transferred the microSD to the computer and handed the mp.3 player to the STS 123 crew members. While we lifted off into space the music from my mp.3 player softly played on the speakers. Our mission was to be the youngest people to fully orbit earth.

         As we reached the finish to our mission I grew closer to (nickname 2) and wasn’t as cold to him. As the last song from my mp.3 player came to an end we buckled up and started our descent. I looked over to (nickname 2) and then the stars. They seemed closer than ever. I reached out my hand to touch them like I did as a child. I looked back at the control panel and after 10 minutes we had safely landed. There were no stars to look at once we touched down, but I knew they were up there.
