Why do you suppose the Greeks blamed a woman fro bringing evil into the world? Why not a man or a god? What does this tell us about their society vs. ours in 2020?

I suppose they blamed women for bringing evil because there was prostitution, and I'm pretty sure women who were pregnant and didn't want they child did abortion. The Greeks didn't believe in God, they believed in gods. They believed that they should honor all gods and gods. If they ever disrespect or blame a god, they thought that god would bring misfortune. This tells us that we have a completely different perspective on society. Currently we're fighting for equity and women's rights. Back in their society, women respected men and gods. They did what they were told.
