French over land in North America. In the years following Great Britain's victory in this war, a
number of events occurred that angered the colonists and led to the American Revolution.
Use your notes on the Give Me Liberty and pgs.98-114 in the textbook to address ONE of the
following prompts: I would like a paragraph. Make sure you give specific details in your
explanation--and make sure you have an OPINION.
1. Use historical evidence to describe and defend the British action/colonial reaction you
believe played the most significant role in leading the colonists to war with Great Britain.
2. Were the colonists justified in going to war with Great Britain? Defend your response
using historical evidence from at least three British actions/colonial reactions discussed
in this lesson.
