The government officials were chosen through civil service exams. And the military helped the Ming dynasty drove out Mongol invaders. And used the military for absolute authority.

The military had advanced military technology which had helped them grow their empire by conquering neighboring countries. They also had strong political and military leaders.

The general Babur was their first emperor.The Incans were ruled by emperors, and they had a central authority thanks to the military helping the government control the citizens.

Buddhism was the main religion. But with excessive trading, the merchants that went out to trade brought back new ideas of Christianity and that made the government believe trade was ruining their culture, so they made foreigners pay tribute to trade.

This empire was Muslim, and they allowed freedom of religion if they paid a tax. There was no separation between secular laws and religious laws.The empire’s ruling class was Muslims, although most of the subjects were Hindu causing a religious tolerance.

Religion was used to rule the elite and legitimize both their own privileged position within Inca society and to spread the general belief of Inca superiority over the subjects of their vast Empire.

They turned inwards limiting trade making less imports to increase the economy’s wealth to the strengthen the economy.  

Through commercial trade the economy developed its economic structure by its geopolitical structure. Felicitating trade between the west and east often taxing merchants that pass by the region.

The empire was the midway point between eastern and western Asia, making them a prime location for merchants. They were greatly impacted by European influence.Their economy was so strived on the basic needs of the people. They relied on the tribute system and bartering to generate revenue for the economy.
