President Maria Corazon Aquino contributed a lot of agriculture in the Philippines such as:

reorganization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAF) to the Department of Agriculture.establishment of the Comprehensive Agricultural Loan Fund (CALF).establishment of the Livelihood Enhancement for Agricultural Development (LEAD)implementation of the Rice Action Program (RAP), and, implementation of Corn Production Enhancement Program (CPEP)

President Maria Corazon was president from 1986 to 1992 and under her, agriculture was greatly encouraged and improved in leaps and bounds.

As a result of the LEAD, farmers got better financing and the RAP ensured that Philippines produced so much rice that they began to export it.

In conclusion, President Maria Aquino did a lot for the agricultural sector in the Philippines and will be remembered for it.
