AP Government question hi guys! i only need bullet points to get me on the right track- please only awnser this if you have any idea- not people who want to awnser for the points :)

Awnser THIS question: The president belongs to the same party as the Senate’s majority party, and the midterm election is six months away. In the context of the scenario, explain how these two factors would affect the interaction between the senator and the majority party.
