¿Cómo nació el museo etnográfico de la selva?

El Museo Etnográfico de la Selva, fue creado en el siglo XX con el objetivo principal de mostrar objetos, conceptos y valores culturales presentes en la Amazonía peruana. Fue creado por misioneros somalíes presentes en el sureste del Perú, para hacer una amplia difusión cultural a los jóvenes de la región, para que conocieran los conceptos básicos de su cultura y no permitieran que estos conceptos se perdieran en el tiempo.
