It is however, necessary for men to strive hard for success, by making preparations and praying to Allah or God, for guidance and direction.

This is evidence in one of the Book of Hadith, in which it was reported that, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, “Tie the camel, then rely on Allah’s will”.

Hence, to tie the camel is to strive, or do one's own part, and leave the rest to Allah to perfect.
