Hitler was significant in history because he was the main reason for the Holocaust happening. The holocaust was the liquidation and extermination of Jews, as they were seen as an inferior race and the sole reason Germany was going down as a country. He used his power to orchestrate the death of 6 million Jews. Under his dictatorship cruelty and power hungry flourished.
