Why did Jackson react differently to the constitutional crisis surrounding The Nullification Crisis and the Worcester vs. Georgia supreme court decision? In other words, Jackson acted decisively to South Carolina’s threat to nullify federal laws and possibly withdraw from the union, but when faced with the enforcement of federal law interpretation, he balked and claimed he did not have the means of enforcement.
