Was dropping the atomic bomb the right decision to end the war?

In my opinion although controversial to many, is yes. It is the correct decision in my opinion because it prevented many more deaths that would have happened when invading Japan. Japan at that time was willing to do anything for their emperor, and you must remember the Bushido code in the army. The Japanese at the time even trained citizens for the defense of Japan. So yes, the dropping of the atomic in my opinion is much more preferable than the only other option.
