Why do you think violence has declined?

I think violence has decreased because people know the consequences to every crime and we have the technology to catch just about everyone. Before, we couldn’t do fingerprinting, or DNA reading, and therefore we couldn’t catch people who weren’t caught red handed or had multiple witnesses.
