14. Explain and evaluate the views of Sogyal Rinpoche regarding death and human activity in the modern world

Sogyal had a perspective of death as being meaningful and significant. He proposes that death isn't the final and that our present life is just the start of a journey. In his view, he stated that anyone who feared death was not aware of the reality as he proposed that fearing death will prompt an individual to live a selfish life of which we may result to death of our environment. Having a clear understanding of what comes in at the end of life is the gateway to the whole understanding of life and the variation of an individual understanding on life.

Sogyal Rinpoche view seeks to help humans find the interrelationship among a good death and a happy life. If an individual dies peacefully, it will result into a better afterlife. He clearly expressed that Death is not a thing to be scared of as to die a good death. It is important that an individaul improve and grow towards a good life.
