Why do you think people are willing to to go to school for so many years?

really good jobs require a degree, which can only be gained from continuing to finish school. higher jobs require higher degrees.

some people enjoy the achievement aspect of going to school for many years. if they are passionate about a topic or subject, they enjoy learning about it for many years.
