During the Neolithic age, Pottery making was one of the professions also discovered which helped man to improve the various methods used in cooking. Pottery could be used to make pots, plates and spoons for cooking and eating. They could also be used to store food items and water.

Construction of houses, and buildings greatly improved during the Neolithic age compared to the Paleolithic age.

From sheeps, the outer covering of their skin also known as wool was used by man in to make clothing during the Neolithic age.

Basket weaving was also one of the skills learnt during the Neolithic age. Baskets were used to store clothing items. They were also used to store some food items to prevent them from spoiling easily.
