In September 2015, the United Nations established various goals toward sustainable development including Goal 5: Achieve Gender Equality and Empower all Women and Girls. Identify whether or not these are objectives included within this goal.

SDGs are global goals geared towards year sustenance till year 2030. 17 integrated SDGs were deigned to bring the world to life-changing zeroes to gender inequality, poverty, hunger and human conflicts

According to the UN, "gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world".  Gender equality as an SDG is geared towards ending discrimination against women and girls.

There are 9 objectives under this goal and "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls" is one of them.
