Reading primary source documents can be a challenge, but it is one of the best ways of constructing-or reconstructing--your understanding of
history. Choose a topic for research from these selections and select one of the primary source documents listed for that topic. Make sure you
pick a written text like journal entry or a newspaper article. Answer the following guiding questions to help you analyze it.
