Explanation: psychologically speaking such a situation created spirit of revenge among Germans becase there was a sentiment of unjustice. Germany was forced to resigne to its great imperialist dreams: 1) colonies in overseas, 2) forming a "Great Germany", i.e. include to its national territory all the land where German was spoken: Austria, Lorraine, Alsace, Bohemia, Moravia and other places.
