How did population growth lead to the industrial revolution

There was a spike in the population before and during the industrial revolution and this is due to many reasons. Before the industrial revolution, there were some breakthroughs in medicine and more children could live. Besides this, there were changes to marriage in England that allowed more families to exist. This led to an increase in population and a greater demand for resources like land, food, clothes, and others. This sparked the first steps in industrialized production where you could mass-produce goods for a population of a bigger size. The increase of goods leads to even more population growth which leads to even more industrialization and urbanization.

based on this information, i would advocate against sweatshop labour because it exploits workers in unsafe working conditions with little pay. though sweatshops produce inexpensive goods, they harm the environment, workers, and often use unsafe materials to make consumer goods.
