During the World War II, only few countries followed the communism system, however this took a turn towards the end of it after Russia gained power and defeated the Germans. During those years, the world witnessed one of the most famous incidents that is the formation of Berlin wall due to the conflict between the communist Russians and democratic Americans.  

After the war, billions of people in Europe lost their properties and suffered from bad economy, which helped communism into spreading and especially in the eastern countries that were closer to Russia. This fast invasion of the communism system caused serious impact in America and these circumstances led later on to the Cold War.
