Cite evidence to supprt the claim that the new england colonies promoted the ideals of democracy and self government

New England colonies were a part of the thirteen colonies and it favored the ideologies of democracy.

Explanation:

New England colonies were settlements in America and it was under the in charge of the British Crown. Colonies were not to be separate states but they were business units wherein money would be sent to the crown which was gained through the transaction and exchange of goods.

Initially small towns were formed with only minimum number of households who had a similar lifestyle. The crown appointed a group of people to be in charge of the town and there was a Green a central park where in militia was stationed and people  

Gradually, people started to regulate and organize themselves. They prayed together and shared an identical way of living.  At that time huge land grants were provided and the rich who were the land owners were given much respect and the poor who were given waste lands were required to toil hard. Slowly town systems vanished and people started to expand beyond the boundaries.
