background: in the ancient world, the romans conquered the entire mediterranean region and built a great empire. eventually, the roman empire grew too large and was divided. the western half of the roman empire became weak and was completely conquered by barbarians by 476 a. d. the eastern half became known as the byzantine empire and thrived for 1000 years. this byzantine empire would leave behind many contributions that would shape future generations.
task: you will come up with a newspaper article describing the contributions of either emperor justinian wife, theodora.
