Was the leardership of hostess brands to blame for the demise of the compagny? why or why not?

They had a hand in the demise of the company. Leadership stayed still while the market was changing. Competitors had new product lines to adjust to consumer tastes unlike Hostess. They couldn’t get sales to move the products off the shelf in a timely matter, so they became stale.
