They can be wars, poverty, politics, persecution, lack of basic living conditions, corruption. The pull factors are the ones that attract the people to move in some place. They can be high standard of living, safety, better education, equal opportunities in life with everyone else. As I said, even though they are opposite, they go along, as the push factors will make the people live certain place, bu the pull factors will determine their final destination.
