We need to love god for who he really is. he is love; he is kind; he is just; he is powerful; he knows everything; he is in control; he is patient; he is faithful; he is trustworthy…what else do you know about who god is?

God is also known in three spirits;

God the Father, God the Son (who is Jesus Christ), and God the Holy spirit.

He is referred to as the protector, or a shield to the weak. He's also the creator of all; a ruler. He's a light; King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

(I hope this means something? I'm not sure, but here goes.)

One place to look is the Psalms. He is my Helper (Psalm 54:4). He is a God who saves (Psalm 68:20). He is an Honest Judge (Psalm 7:11). He is my fortress (Psalm 94:22). He is my shield (Psalm 7:10). He is our refuge and our strength (Psalm 46:1). He is holy (Psalm 99:9). He is a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5).  He is my Hiding Place (Psalm 32:7).
