Buddhism is an Indian religion and it was originated in ancient India as a Sramana tradition sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE, spreading through much of Asia. Created by Gautama Buddhawho  gained his Enlightement under a tree.

Their major principles was to always speak Truth, never harm any creature, try to help others.

In the US it is unlikely that Buddhism alone had any direct influence on laws, but because many of it's teachings about living a moral life i.e. not killing, stealing, etc. are the same as other more dominant religions it could be said that religious convictions (Buddhist ones included) in general have influenced lawmakers in making decisions.

Buddhism also affected other societies as many Hindu followers who were from lower casts joined it immidiately due to discrimination in their own religion.

i do not believe this was true indefiantly the native americans would have lsot aganist america one they didndt have the resources and allies that america had and 2   indians werent as advanced at the time as they were not 3 americans had the expreince because some of the soliders from other wars fought in that war and were attecked etc
