Habakkuk was a relative of josiah and a descendant of hezekiah true or false

  I believe that the statement is false and I´ll give a little summary about Habakkuk´s life in order to support my position.

  Habakkuk was a prophet in the hebrew bible descibred in the "Book of Habakkuk" wich was the eight of the collected twelve minor prophets books. In regards of his life almost nothing  is known about it; few facts are stated in the book of the bible with his name and his name only appears two times.

  For almost every other prophet on the bible more information is given like their hometown, occupation or information about their relatives or tribe; but for him there is no biographical information other than he held the title of "prophet". Nevertheles there is no reliable account of information about Habakkuk scholars have analyzed his book and other proffs and have concluded that he lived in Jerusalem and set an approximate date for his prophecies.

  For example, his book consists of five oracles about the Chaldeans, and its raise to power was during the year 612 BC the scholars assumed Habakkuk was active about that time. Also the final chapter of the book contains a song so they assumed he was a member of the Levi tribe who were known as musicians.

  The way his book of the bible is written have been praised among the scholars because it suggest that the author was a man of great literary talent. And finally Habakkuk was unusual among the prophets because he openly questions the work of God; at the beggining of the first chapter he sees injustice among the people and asks whi God does not take action. "O LORD, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save?".
