The correct answer is 40,000 or more exactly 41,000 miles of highways within the Interstate Highway System that not only had civilian but military purposes since it was supposed to link Air Force bases to all these highways as well. 25 billion dollars were granted for this project which was the biggest in the history of the United States at that time.

The system paid for itself since it was financed by taxes on gasoline and diesel fuel and it took a bit over ten years for it to be completed.

1893 - the panic of 1893 took place. (what a creative name)

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
