I do not know if this is a multiple choice question or not, but I would argue that the answer is a historical archaeologist (as opposed to a classical archaeologist, for instance, who studies the material evidence of the ancient societies that existed in the Mediterranean area, or a prehistoric archaeologist, who studies the material remains of prehistoric communities). Historical archaeology, broadly speaking, is the archaeology of the Modern World (16th through 20th centuries), which benefits from the existence of written and oral records that can help to better contextualize and understand the material evidence that the societies that lived in those centuries left behind.
