William McIntosh was the chief of lower creeks. He was alienated from the tribe due to his support of United States in obtaining the Creek territory. He was killed by Upper creeks  because of his role in the drafting and participation of treaty of Indian Springs in 1825. He was born in Town of Coweta, his father captain William McIntosh was Scotsman and his mother Senoya was creek and  belonged to wind clan.
