Where do scientist believe modern human beings originated?

Out of Africa. They were thought to be originally dark hence why black people are that way, so Africa it is. Africa is warm so it would make sense. Then these people would span out into the European areas, and since those climates are colder, they would become paler over time, hence how white people have less melanin than black people.
