I don't know exactly what you need but if your looking for major details, then I can help. The Holocaust, as you probably know, was the genocide (or mass murder) of Jews, by Adolf Hitler. He was the leader of the Nazi party and he blamed Jews for Germany's problems. After WWI, Germany wasn't doing too well and Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews for that. I don't know exactly why, but he hated Jews. Anyways, when Hitler came into power in Germany, he put all the Jews in concentration camps, where there were treated poorly and eventually killed by either poisonous gas, or starvation. There was also this event called Kristallnacht, or night of the broken glass, which was when Jewish homes and stores were broken into by Nazis and they were destroyed. This happened on November 9, 1938. The actual holocaust ended in May, 1945. A major effect was millions of Jews, and other minorities were killed because they weren't in the perfect "image"(Blue eyes blonde hair) and because Hitler blamed the Jews, even though I think he was a Jew, if my fifth grade report serves me correct. I think he might have blamed the Jews, because a Jewish doctor wasn't able to cure his sick mom so he might have been a little salt from that. the berlin blockade was an international crisis that arose from an attempt by the soviet union, in 1948–49, to force the western allied powers (the united states, the united kingdom, and france) to abandon their post-world war ii jurisdictions in west berlin. in march 1948 the allied powers decided to unite their different occupation zones of germany into a single economic unit. in protest, the soviet representative withdrew from the allied control council. coincident with the introduction of a new deutsche mark in west berlin (as throughout west germany), which the soviets regarded as a violation of agreements with the allies, the soviet occupation forces in eastern germany began a blockade of all rail, road, and water communications between berlin and the west. on june 24 the soviets announced that the four-power administration of berlin had ceased and that the allies no longer had any rights there.
