Roe v. Wade (1973) was a case regarding abortion care that had major influence on Webster v. Reproductive Services (1989) and Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992) cases. In Roe v. Wade, it was established that women had the right to abortion while the fetus had no rights before the third trimester.

A) In Webster v. Reproductive Services (1989),  the Supreme Court  limited the constitutional protection of Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion throughout the U.S. On the other hand, the Casey v. Planned Parenthood case not only upheld Roe's abortion right but also extended the authority of the states to regulate it.          

B) The Supreme Court affirmed that states were indeed allowed to regulate abortion care at any stage of pregnancy in Planned Parenthood v. Casey case. In Webster v. Reproductive Services, the Court established that the fetus viability was paramount in order to determine whether the abortion was legal. Both cases garanteed the states the right to regulate abortion and limited the women's access to the procedure.
